COUPLES THERAPY
Relational issues tend to be a major contributing factor to individual distress. Couples therapy is an opportunity for two individuals to come together to work on the challenges in their relationship in an atmosphere of safety and understanding. As a couples therapist, I hear partner’s story and perspective, then assist the couple in making sense of their feelings, experiences, and expectations in order to create new ways of relating. Couples therapy also aims to provide a space to learn better communication techniques, repair damaged trust, and develop more fulfilling, healthier ways of being together or cordially apart.
